5. Changes or Cancellation by the Company
Ladakh travel involves high-altitude terrain, border areas, and weather that can be unpredictable. We reserve the right to alter or cancel any tour due to:
- Adverse weather, road closures, or natural disasters (e.g. landslides on Manali-Leh Highway).
- Government restrictions, permit suspension, or military activity in restricted zones.
- Force majeure events beyond our control.
In such cases, we will offer an alternative date, an alternative itinerary of equivalent value, or a full refund of amounts paid minus non-recoverable costs (e.g. hotel deposits already made on your behalf). We are not liable for any consequential costs such as flights or visa fees.
6. Travel Documents and Permits
- It is the traveller's responsibility to carry valid photo ID (Aadhaar card, passport, or driving licence) at all times. Government checkpoints in Ladakh require ID verification.
- Foreign nationals must hold a valid passport and appropriate Indian visa. The Company will assist with PAP (Protected Area Permit) applications but cannot guarantee issuance.
- Indian nationals travelling to restricted areas (Pangong, Nubra, Tso Moriri, Hanle) require an Inner Line Permit (ILP). We arrange ILPs as part of our packages; however, travellers must provide accurate ID details promptly.
7. Health, Fitness, and Altitude
- Leh is situated at approximately 3,500m (11,500 ft). Travellers must be in reasonable health to participate.
- We strongly recommend consulting a physician before travel, especially if you have a history of cardiac conditions, respiratory issues, high blood pressure, or prior altitude sickness.
- The Company is not responsible for any health complications arising from altitude. We follow standard acclimatization protocols, but individual responses to altitude vary.
- Travel insurance covering high-altitude medical evacuation is strongly recommended and is the traveller's own responsibility to arrange.
8. Liability
The Company acts as an organiser and coordinator. While we take all reasonable care, we are not liable for:
- Loss, injury, or damage resulting from circumstances beyond our control (weather, road conditions, acts of God, government actions).
- Acts or omissions of third-party service providers (hotels, transport operators, airlines).
- Personal accidents, theft, or loss of belongings during the tour.
- Delays, curtailments, or changes to itineraries caused by force majeure.
Our total liability to any traveller shall not exceed the total amount paid for the package.
9. Traveller Conduct
Travellers are expected to behave respectfully towards local communities, monasteries, and fellow travellers. The Company reserves the right to remove any traveller from a tour without refund if their behaviour endangers the group or is deemed unacceptable by the guide or Company representative.
10. Photography and Privacy
We may photograph or film tours for promotional use. If you do not wish to appear in promotional material, please inform us in writing before departure.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Leh, Ladakh.
