The minimum recommended time for a Leh Ladakh trip is 5 nights/6 days if flying and 9 nights/10 days if going by road via Manali. Most travellers find 7–9 nights the ideal balance — enough time to see Pangong, Nubra, and Leh properly without rushing. Here is exactly what each duration covers and what you will miss.

5-Day Leh Ladakh Itinerary (Fly in/out)

Day 1: Arrive Leh, rest. Day 2: Acclimatize — Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, local market. Day 3: Nubra Valley via Khardung La — camel ride at Hunder. Day 4: Pangong Lake. Day 5: Return to Leh, fly out. This is our 5-day Ladakh trip package (₹12,999/person). It's compact but you see the highlights.

7-Day Leh Ladakh Itinerary (Fly in/out)

Two extra days over the 5-day plan allow a proper overnight at Pangong (watching sunrise vs just a day visit — completely different experience), time to visit Thiksey and Hemis monasteries in detail, and a less rushed pace at Nubra. This is the sweet spot for most travellers who have 8 days of leave.

9-Night Leh Ladakh Itinerary (Road + Flight)

Drive up via Manali (Days 1–2), acclimatize in Leh (Days 3–4), Nubra (Day 5), Pangong (Days 6–7), Tso Moriri or Hanle (Days 8–9), fly out Day 10. This is our 9-night Delhi trip (₹22,999/person) and covers everything most travellers want to see.

12+ Days: Full Ladakh Circuit

With 12 or more days, you can add Zanskar Valley (remote, takes 2–3 days), do both Tso Moriri and Hanle, include the Srinagar–Leh highway section, and generally move at the pace Ladakh deserves. This is also enough time for a short trek (Markha Valley, Stok Kangri base camp).
